Betty Sue Plemons Cole, 74, of Haleyville passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2019.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019 from 3-4 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held at 4 p.m., Brother Danny Page will officiate.
Betty was born Nov. 21, 1944 in Haleyville, Alabama. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Betty is survived by her son, Roy Gene (Susan Gail) Cole of Double Springs; daughters, Sherry Sue Cole of Phil Campbell, and Lisa Helen (Wayne) Hamby of Haleyville; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Roy Eugene Cole; son, Tony Eugene Cole; father, Cecil Plemons; mother, Hudie Adair Plemons; brother, Bobby Gene Plemons; and sister, Margaret Ann Cole.
