Obituary: Lee Clinton Crigger

Funeral services for Lee Clinton Crigger, 83, of Vinemont, will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Floyd Bradford and Rev. Jerry Freeman, officiating; burial at Flint Creek Cemetery.

Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Crigger passed away on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019 at his residence. He was born April 5, 1936 to Charles Grant and Mary Bell Crigger.

Mr. Crigger holds professional designations as Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow and Registered Financial Consultant. Clinton has more than 22 years of experience helping individuals, business owners and professionals to grow and preserve capital.

Mr. Crigger joined Tom Jones Financial in Jan. 2008. Prior to his association with Tom Jones he was affiliated with MetLife where he was a member of the MetLife’s Chairman’s Council, Life Member of the Presidents Conference, a Senior Financial Planner, received “The Award for Excellence” and was a member of The Advisory Board of MetLife’s Pension and Savings Center.

He is a Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table, Top of The Table. It is an international association of leading financial professionals, recognized as the standard of excellence in the financial services industry, and a member of the International Association of Financial Planners. He is the past President of The North Alabama Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Lou Crigger; brothers, Iven Crigger, Charles Glennister Crigger, Bill Crigger, Ernest Crigger, and Bob Crigger; sisters, Fern Logue and Maxine Ramsey.

Survivors include his daughter, Beth (Irv) Grant; sons, Clint (Judith) Crigger, II, Greg (Vanessa) Crigger, and Danny (Wendy) Crigger; grandchildren, Stephanie (Matt) Platt, Lee Clinton Crigger, III, Luke Crigger, Hope Crigger, Seth Crigger, Isaiah Crigger, Abigail Crigger, Samuel Crigger, James Crigger, John Crigger, Michael (Brittany) Crigger, Justin (Lacinda) Litz, Katie Fleming, Stephen (Casey) Crigger, and Dalton Crigger; and great-grandchildren, Madison, Rosie, Ava, Shyler, Molly Grace, Kaden, Zander, Decklin, Tucker, Chase Allen, Nevaeh, Collin, Hunter, Braxton, Tripp, and Ali.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
