Nancy Faircella Isom Jones, 70, of Phil Campbell, Alabama entered into rest July 24, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Jones was born May 12, 1949 in Haleyville. She was a longtime employee of the Kellwood Company and Wrangler Distribution Center. Nancy was a member of Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church who enjoyed spreading God’s word to those she met. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending church services and activities.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from noon-2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Brother Kyle Copeland and Brother Jerry Hester will officiate. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Cemetery in Phil Campbell, Alabama.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 20 years, J. D. Jones: her son Bobby Isom Jr. and his wife Wendy; her daughter Tina McQuary and her husband Mike; her sister-in-law Rachel Frederick; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was a special grandmother to three grandchildren, Whitney Isom; Brittney Dotson; and Chloe Isom.
She was preceded in death by her first husband of 24 years, Bobby Isom, Sr.; granddaughter, Tiffany Dotson; her parents, Travis and Lora Frederick and brother, Delois Frederick.
