Claude Edward Godwin, Jr., 80, of Oneonta, AL., was born on June 13, 1959 and died on June 28, 2019.  Preceding him in death were his father and mother Claude, Sr., and Sarah Godwin and brother John Godwin.  Survivors include his wife Peggy Dickie Godwin; daughter Vaness (Gavin) Parks; granddaughter Abby Parks; sister Cynthia (Therman) Mills; nephew Bo (Chantell) Mills and niece Rhonda (Clif) Martin. The family received friends on Monday, July 1, 2019 at Lemley Funeral Home from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A private funeral service was held by the family with Dr. Larry Gipson officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. Lemley Funeral Home and Crematory directing.
