Mr. Johnson passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Falkville Health Care Center. He was born March 21, 1935 to Elise Heedley and Mary C. Johnson.
He served the City of Cullman for 33 years as a Cullman City firefighter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Inze Dotson; brothers, H. B. Johnson, Ellis C. Johnson, and Curly Johnson.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Hilda Johnson; daughters, Judy (Scott) Brady and Jackie (Quindall) Terry; son, James Keith Johnson (Sharon Anderson); stepdaughters, Tina (Jimmy) Hopper, Marsha (Billy) Campbell, and Stacy McClanahan; stepson, Anthony (Tammy) McClanahan; four grandsons; five step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchilren; sister, Mary Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
