April Walking Tour- Cullman Cakewalk this Saturday!

CULLMAN, Ala. – The April Walking Tours will continue this Saturday, April 20. This weekend’s walk will be extra special: it’s the Cullman Cakewalk!

The Cakewalk will be led by local author, artist and all-around entertaining and eccentric (not to mention classy!) Southern gentleman Ben Johnson South.
 
Attendees should meet at 10 a.m. on the steps of the Cullman County Museum.
 
Highlights will include:
 

*Edgar Veigl–Sacred Heart Church, Architectural Preservation

*The Cullman Tribune–“The 10 Poems Everyone in Alabama Should Read”

*Esther Opera House & Ice Skating Rink

*All-Steak Restaurant–Major theater announcement

*Brooke Desnoes–Cullman’s new, classical ballet academy

*Charles Kleibacker–Alabama’s Ralph Lauren

All attendees will enjoy a fresh, FREE All-Steak orange roll!

Admission to the museum will be free after the tour for those interested in learning more about Cullman’s past.

The Cullman County Museum is located at 211 Second Ave. NE.
