BIRMINGHAM –  Milo’s Hamburgers is giving five $1,000 grants to schools and education organizations in Cullman County. Milo’s is giving the grants through its “Little Something Extra” Foundation.

Schools, as well as local nonprofits with a focus on education and leadership, are encouraged to apply for a grant online at www.miloshamburgers.com/lse-foundation by Friday, April 13, 2018. The five recipients will be chosen in late April, the company said in a statement.

“We are honored and excited to be getting more deeply involved with organizations that have local purposes. We believe in the value of hard work, leadership and helping our communities become better places,” said Milo’s CEO Tom Dekle. “By partnering with the people that do this best, we are convinced we can make a bigger difference together!”
