FAIRVIEW – In Friday night’s jamboree game, the Fairview Aggies started off by receiving the football from the East Limestone Indians. After a 12-yard run by Scoot Bennett the Aggies couldn't get that covered touchdown and East Limestone took over.

East Limestone quarterback Andrew Parris ran on a second-and-3 for an 81-yard touchdown run to go up 7-0 in the first quarter. After an Aggies three-and-out, the Indians marched 65 yards down the field and scored on a 20-yard touchdown run by running back Wyatt Wilburn. The Aggies picked back up and gained some momentum, but an Ethan Holland fumble forced by Ashton Lockett for the Indians had East Limestone back in business for a first-and-10. Parris then threw for a 70-yard touchdown to Lockett. Heading into halftime, the score was 21-0 East Limestone.

The Aggies picked up in the second half forcing a three-and-out from the Indians, after which Dayne Black threw a 33-yard touchdown received by Ethan Holland.

Going into the fourth, it was 21-7 Indians. After the offense marched 31 yards, senior kicker Sabian James for East Limestone kicked a 46-yard field goal to go up 24-7 on the Aggies. Late in the quarter, Aggie quarterback Oakley Mullican threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to receiver Klay Knop, and that closed the scoring on the night.

Final: East Limestone- 24, Fairview- 14. The Aggies head to East Lawrence next week to open their regular season on Sept. 1.
