Cullman County Cattlemen and CattleWomen RIBEYE STEAK SANDWICH SALE

Saturday, May 28 until 2 p.m. The group is set up in the south shopping center by the Carmike Cinemas – Carmike 10 – Cullman, Al, TJ Maxx and Walmart Cullman. Only $7 for sandwich. $1 for soft drinks. $.50 for chips.

 

VFW Memorial Day Program

Join Cullman's VFW Post 2214 as they host a Memorial Day program at Veteran's Park at Sportsman Lake on Saturday, May 28. The program will begin at 10 a.m. Cullman Mayor Max A. Townson will speak. The program will honor the Floyd family, whose brother was killed in action in WWII in February 1945. Floyd will be honored as a representative of all of the names inscribed on the walls of the monuments at the park.

 

Opening Day for the Outdoor Water Park at CWAC

The outdoor water park at the Cullman Wellness & Aquatic Center will open for the season on Saturday, May 28. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, and 1-6 p.m. on Sunday. Short Track Race and Night Ride at Stony Lonesome

Saturday, May 28. Short Track Race from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Stony Lonesome OHV Park brings Short Track Racing with Payouts to Cullman County, Alabama. 39th Annual Arts and Crafts Show

May 28-29 at Point Mallard ice rink pavilion in Decatur. Saturday 7 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

 

27th Annual Holly Pond Alumni Association Banquet

Saturday, May 28 at Holly Pond School. Refreshments at 5 p.m. in the high school library and banquet meal at 6 p.m. in the lunchroom. Business meeting at 7 p.m.

 

Corpus Christi Weekend at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament

Smith Lake Memorial Day Festival

Saturday, May 28 from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. at Smith Lake Park. Full lineup of live music scheduled. The pool will be opening for the summer, live bands will be on stage and food & craft vendors will be onsite. Kayak and canoe rentals will also be available.

 

Good Hope Outlaws Youth Football, Cheer & Majorette Fundraiser

Yard Sale on Saturday, May 28 from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. at A Lot of Cars in Good Hope on Highway 69. In addition to the yard sale, we will be selling hot dogs, drinks, chips and baked goods.We will be selling plates, sandwiches and butts, ribs and chicken. Come get lunch or pick up dinner. Mad Dog Mike's Famous Bar B Que and Robert R. Taylor Jr. will be set up and cooking some great food. The Good Hope Outlaws are the newest members of the Cullman County Youth Football Association. We are raising money for helmets, shoulder pads, cheer and majorette props and other equipment. The Hanceville Class of 1958 reunion will be on Saturday, May 28, at 10 a.m., at the Moody Center in Hanceville.
