Republican Party Feb. 6 Breakfast to Feature Shelby Opponent McConnell

CULLMAN – This month’s Cullman County Republican Party (CCRP) breakfast meeting, on Saturday, Feb. 6, will include a buffet of area Republican candidates ahead of the much-anticipated March 1 primary. The featured speaker will be Jonathan McConnell, who is running against incumbent U.S. Sen. Richard Shelby. A forum for the Cullman County Commission Chairman candidates will also take place, including incumbent Kenneth Walker and his two challengers Darrell Hicks and Eric L. Parker.

There will be a question and answer session where local residents will be able to speak and ask questions of all of the candidates.

The breakfast meeting is on Saturday, Feb. 6 at the Cullman Elks Lodge. Breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the program at 8 a.m. The cost of the breakfast $10; there will be no charge to attend the meeting at 8 a.m. The general public is encouraged to attend.
