Funeral Services for William Henry Speegle, age 75 of Hanceville, will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Shelton Grove Church. Burial will follow in the Adjoining Cemetery, with Bro. Willis Langston officiating. He will Lie-in-State at the church from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

After a battle with cancer, William H Speegle passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 peacefully at his home in Hanceville.
He was born on December 8, 1939 to the late Robert Dewey & Artie May Shelton Speegle. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Syble Wolfe.
He is survived by his Wife of 51 years – Carol M Speegle; 4 – Siblings – Jackie Underwood, Patricia Brown, Sandy Drefke and Bert Speegle; 5 – Children – Angie Thrasher, Parish Speegle, Carolina Speegle, William K. Speegle and Amanda Taylor; 9 – Grandchildren & 2 – Great-Grandchildren.
Billy found peace and true joy spending time with his children and grandchildren. Deepest appreciation and love to everyone that guided him throughout his life.
Special thanks to Gentiva Hospice, who helped care for and comfort him. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
