Daystar Children’s Ministry donates $1K to Curt’s Closet

The Children's Ministry of Daystar Church-Good Hope Campus recently presented a check for $1,000 to Ashley Wilson and Curt's Closet. During Kidfest 2018 at Daystar, the children were encouraged to participate in 'Kidfest Gives Back.' The kids brought a love offering each night to give back to the community. A portion of the offering was donated to Curt's Closet and the remainder was donated to the 'Master's Hands' outreach ministry of Daystar – which used the money to buy classroom supplies for teachers in our public schools.

Curt's Closet is a nonprofit started to honor the memory of Ashley's son, Curtis James Wilson, by giving back to the community. Curt's Closet is a boutique-feel shop, where families in need can come ‘shop’ for clothing, shoes, backpacks, lunch boxes and prom dresses, all for free. It serves families that are low income, foster families, families that have had a recent house fire, sickness in the family, military families and many more situations.
