CULLMAN, Ala. – North Central Neurology Associates, in partnership with the Joanne P. LaGanke MS Center and MS Views and News, hosted the 2026 Move Over MS Walk Saturday morning, Oct. 17, at Heritage Park in Cullman.
Clinical Research Coordinator Mary Beth Sellers said the Move Over MS Walk was a shining success.
“We had 100-150 people participate in the walk and even additional to attend; it’s been a great day,” Sellers said. “I was told that this was the biggest MS Walk we’ve had so far and the most well attended. From sponsorships alone, we raised more than $22,000 for MS Views and News.”
The event featured live music from the Overtones and family Halloween fun for all attendees.
Dr. Christopher LaGanke said they were so excited with the attendance and nice day for the event.
“We are so happy with the support we received from the community,” LaGanke said. “Truly this was a blessing.”
Founder and President of MS Views and News Stuart Schlossman shared, “This was a great event and the attendance and support will help further our programs.”
The MS Walk in Cullman is held to raise awareness and support for people living with multiple sclerosis.
“MS can have a profound impact on young and middle-aged adults and their families,” LaGanke said. “My mother’s experience with this disease inspired my calling to care for those affected, so this cause is deeply personal to me. We’re thankful for our community’s support, and with live music, children’s activities and more, we hope everyone will come out for a morning of fun and fellowship while supporting this important cause.”
The walk also raises funds benefiting MS Views and News, a nonprofit organization that provides educational programs and resources for people affected by MS.
Official 2026 Move Over MS Walk T-shirts and MS Warrior hats are available for purchase at North Central Neurology Associates.
T-shirts are $20 for sizes small through extra-large and $23 for sizes 2X and 3X. MS Warrior hats are $25 each. Payment is cash or check only.
