CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman Christian School launched its Science Club at the end of this school year. The club is raising funds to go toward travel to zoos, museums, the U.S. Space and Rocket Center and more.
These field trips aren’t a way to get out of school; they help students learn and appreciate science beyond the classroom.
The group wrote: “By visiting natural areas, research facilities, museums, universities, and local industries, students can see firsthand how scientific concepts are applied in the real world.” These trips are aimed at sparking critical thinking skills and introducing career paths. “Our goal is to create opportunities that make learning engaging, relevant and memorable.”
