Funeral services for Tammy Shockley Gowins, 60, of Hanceville, will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 24th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Graham Cemetery in Mt. Olive. Visitation will be Monday, March 23rd from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gowins was born July 12, 1965, in Pell City, Alabama to the late James & Brenda Shockley. She passed away March 20, 2026, in Hanceville, Alabama.
Mrs. Gowins is survived by her husband, Greg Gowins; children, Tiffany Peoples (David A.), Becky Campbell (Jeff); grandchildren, Alexis Campbell (Luis), Leslie Jacques, Kristen Phillips, Hannah Campbell (Jonathan), Miranda Phillips, Emma Walczak, Chloe Walczak; and great grandchildren, Catalina Rodriguez, Kaelynn Chitwood, Santiago Rodriguez, Lucas Chitwood.
Mrs. Gowins was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Shockley; father, James Shockley; brother, Tony Shockley; grandmother, Emma Whitfield; and her best friend, Gary Peoples.
Serving as pallbearers will be Luis, Jeff, David B., David A., Jonathan, Randy, John, and Matthew. Honorary pallbearers are Greg, Alex, and Dewayne.
