Buddy (Cullman County Animal Shelter)

CULLMAN, Ala. – Buddy is a Golden Retriever/Lab mix, approximately 2 years old, with a calm spirit that makes an immediate impression. He’s The Cullman Tribune Pet of the Week.

Low-energy and full of quiet charm, Buddy carries himself like an unassuming gentleman with manners in abundance. Even in his kennel, he remains ever so quiet, a calm presence in the middle of the storm.

Some of Buddy’s favorite things include giving sugar and having his beautiful golden coat brushed. He has the kind of steady, gentle nature that makes him the quintessential companion dog, whether for quiet evenings at home, reading time on the couch or even as a therapy-style companion.

Buddy is already neutered, which means his adoption fee has been reduced to $35. That said, the lower fee is certainly no reflection of his value. Buddy is, by every measure, priceless.

Visit the Cullman County Animal Shelter at 935 Convent Road NE. It’s open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Contact the shelter at 256-734-5448 or cullmananimalshelter@co.cullman.al.us.

If Buddy is not available by the time you contact the shelter, be sure to ask about his friends, because they are all looking for their forever homes, too.
