Graveside service for Nellie Ramsey Burks, age 89, of Cullman, will be Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Missionary Grove Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
Mrs. Burks passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 18, 1936, to Redo and Ola Cupp Ramsey.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, BW Burks; sisters, Mava Painter and Mary Lois Guthrie.
She is survived by her daughters, Lois Cillo (Mike) and Rita Owens; son, Billy Burks (Kathy); grandchildren, Michael Cillo, Jonathan Cillo, Angie Cillo, Scotty Burks, Kandi Burks, April Owens, and B.J. Owens; twelve great-grandchildren and one on the way.
