Marcen Phillips, 90, of Hanceville went home to be with the Lord Saturday, February 7th, 2026, at Hanceville Nursing Home.

Funeral service for Mr. Phillips will be at 12 p.m., Tuesday, February 10th, 2026, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Enon Cemetery, Rev. Herman Lambert and Rev. Douglas Phillips officiating.
Mr. Phillips was born June 7, 1935, to Hershel & Tilda Elizabeth Looper Phillips. He loved the Lord and witnessed to everyone he ever met and wanted everyone to be saved. He loved his family. He moved from Anderson, Indiana to Alabama in 1977 to work at Nicholson File and retired after 48 years. He was an excellent gardener, loved all wildlife and especially his peacocks. He was known for his unique vocabulary. He will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Reviel Phillips; sons-in-law, Steve Ratliff, Marshall Clarke; sisters, Gladys Wilson, Jewel Hinson.
Survivors include his son, Doug (Kathy) Phillips; daughters, Debra Ratliff, Dana Clarke; brother, Roger (Frances) Phillips; sisters, Marie Cordell, Mildred (J.E.) Linder, Estelle (Charles) Tosh, Wanda (Al) Pugh; grandchildren, Matthew (Stacey) Ratliff, Clint Ratliff, Patrick Phillips, Katie (Nick) Williams, Lucas (Paula) Clarke, Marcus (Anna) Clarke, Kallie Phillips; great-grandchildren, Saige (Mariah) Ratliff, Amberlyn (Clay) Hanson, Keegan Phillips, Lake Ratliff, Liam Phillips, Addie Williams, Blakely Clarke, Carter Williams, Aubrey Clarke, Ella Williams, Lorelai Mitchell; great-great grandchildren, Greylnn Hanson, Collier Hanson, Malakai Ratliff; family and friends.
