Ruth Creel King, age 72, of Hanceville, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Michelle Griffin, Wade King, and Kristy Hicks; grandchildren, Alex Griffin, Joshonna (John) Kee, Tyler King; great-grandchildren, Chayton Kee, Kyla Kee, Kenyon Griffin, Kourtney Griffin, Lainey Ray, and Jolene Marie; sisters, Tena (Tom) Weaver, Barbra (Garrett) Vanhermgen, and Donna (Ricky) Bradley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Leona Williams Creel; her husband of 48 years, Clarence Wade King; three great-grandchildren, Jaxtiin and Hastiin McDaniel, Karson Griffin, and Willow King; one son-in- law, Terry Griffin.
