CULLMAN, Ala. – A man from Arab was killed in a single-vehicle crash involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) that occurred at approximately 10 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24. Alabama State Troopers identified the victim as Jeremiah R. Sivley, 24.
Troopers said Sivley was critically injured when the 2025 Yamaha ATV he was operating overturned in the roadway. He was transported to Marshall North Hospital for treatment where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. Troopers said Sivley was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The crash occurred on County Road 1850 near County Road 1851, approximately 2 miles south of Arab, in Cullman County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
