Funeral service for Donual Barnett, age 76, of Cullman, will be Monday, November 24, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home chapel, with Bro. Malcolm Carter officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home chapel and Mr. Barnett will lie in state on Monday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Center Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Barnett passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, at his home. He was born on April 10, 1949.
Donual was a loving, Godly man, who loved his wife, children, grandchildren, family, and friends. He loved to be outside. He loved hunting, fishing, planting the garden, and piddling in his barn. He retired from Cullman Cabinet in 2023, after 48 years. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Connie Sue Barnett; two children, Felicia (Nickie) Hall, and Brian (Keeshia) Barnett; two sisters, Gleta (Allen) McClure, and Melissa (Jeff) Nash; five grandchildren, Caiden Hall, Jocelyn Barnett, Braylee Barnett, Grayson Hall, and Hunter Claire Barnett; a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Caiden Hall, Carl Harville, Scott McClure, Christopher McClure, Wayne Chumbley, Gavin Young, and Grayson Hall.
