CULLMAN, Ala. – Gypsy Soul Antiques & Things is getting into the holiday spirit this year with two fun-filled events to spread some Christmas cheer and create meaningful memories.
Tea Time with Mrs. Claus will take place on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Tickets are $15 per child and include juice served in whimsical tea cups, cookies, letters to Santa and storytime with Rosie the Reindeer. A free photo opportunity with Mrs. Claus will also be available. Families can register by emailing owner Lindsey Blackwood at info@gypsysoulantique.com with their child’s name.
The festivities will continue with Gypsy Soul’s Christmas Open House on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 6-8 p.m. The evening will feature art and accessories from local artist Ginger Bailey, along with door prizes, wine tasting, fresh breads from Bailey’s Bread and a charcuterie board for guests to enjoy. Shoppers will also have a first look at Gypsy Soul’s seasonal collection of holiday décor, design and fashion. Along with Bailey’s artwork and Bailey’s Bread, Gervais & Lulu wines will help bring local flavor to the open house.
Blackwood said these events have become a beloved tradition. “It’s important to create moments for families and friends to bond over creating and repurposing. Gypsy Soul is all about making things new again.”
She said that while online shopping may be convenient, she hopes these gatherings remind people of the importance of supporting local small businesses this holiday season.
“We live and work here with you,” Blackwood said. “The best part of Cullman is the families that make up this beautiful community, and our goal with these events is to bring everyone a little closer together.”
