Joy Lucille Gainer, age 86, of Horton, Alabama passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025. Joy was born in Cherry Grove, WV, to the late Sam and Ethel Bennett Warner.
Joy was a faithful Christian woman, and was a devoted WIfe, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
She is survived by her sons Rayburn Pinyan and Ronnie Pinyan, 12 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren 3 great great grandchildren; and her stepdaughters Deb Simpson and Connie Hess.
She was preceded in death by her Beloved Husband of 30 years, Marvin D. Gainer; two sons, Robert Pinyan and Roger Pinyan; 2 sisters Vallie Wilhoit and Pauline Bonnelli; 4 brothers Freddy, Roscoe, WIllard, and Charles Warner, and 2 grandchildren.
A visitation for Joy will be held Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Ave North West, Cullman, AL 350555827, followed by a celebration of life from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. She will be transported to Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville, WV and laid will be laid to rest beside her husband Marvin Gainer in Nobe Cemetery, Big Springs, WV.
