Clark Dewayne Henderson, of Walter, passed peacefully on October 15, 2026. He was born to Lee Roy and Wanda Henderson on October 18, 1973.
Clark was a dedicated father to two children and a loyal friend to many. He chose to spend his life doing what he loved with those he loved most. Many summer nights were spent camping and sitting around a fire. Many evenings were spent catching more fish than anyone, despite helping the kids untangle lines and take fish off the hooks. He enjoyed golfing with his friends, cracking jokes, and generally loving his quiet life. Clark played his best round of golf on October 14th.
Clark is preceded in death by his father Lee Roy Henderson, and his best dog Duke. He is survived by his mother Wanda Henderson, his two children, Brett and Jessie Henderson, his two brothers, Randall (Denise) Henderson and Kerry Henderson, nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Clark leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and laughter. His influence on those around him will never be forgotten. Services to honor his life will be held on October 24, 2026, at Holly Pond Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. and service will begin at 3 p.m.
