Jolene McBrayer Luna, 67, passed away on August 18, 2026. Born on August 10, 1959, she was a resident of Hartselle, Alabama.
Jolene graduated from West Point, carrying forward a steady determination that marked her life with quiet strength. In the ways that mattered most, she was cherished and beloved—someone whose presence did not need to be loud to be deeply felt.
She was married to John Luna and was the mother of Marsha Wallace and Joseph Luna. She was also a proud grandmother to Nylah, Alanna, Cadence, and Zepherin, holding her family close with a devotion that spoke through everyday care and enduring love.
Those who knew Jolene will remember the gentle calm she brought to those around her, and the simple joys she embraced—especially going for rides, a small kind of adventure that reflected her appreciation for life’s open roads and unhurried moments. Above all, her legacy is found in the love she gave: she loved as well as she could, sincerely and without pretense.
Visitation will be held at Moss-Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Ave North West, Cullman, AL 350555827, on August 22, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Bethlehem West Missionary Baptist, 102 Co Rd 1215, Vinemont, AL 35179, on August 22, 2026, from 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
