It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Duane Earl Hildreth, who passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 75.

Duane spent most of his life doing what he loved. For nearly 50 years of his life, he dedicated himself to being a truck driver, a career he truly enjoyed. The open road wasn’t just his job—it was his passion. Those who knew Duane knew he had a kind heart, a friendly spirit, and a way of making people feel welcome. He was loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, and he leaves behind countless memories that will be cherished forever.

Duane was preceded in death by his father, Forest  Hildreth; his mother, Emma June Hildreth; his sister, Karen Kay Hildreth; his brother, Lavern Hildreth; and his beloved son, Anthony Patrick Everett Hildreth.

He is lovingly remembered by his former wife, Nancy Wells; his daughter-in-love/caregiver, Ashley Hildreth; his treasured grandchildren, Alayah Hildreth, Alli Freeman, and Jaiden Freeman; along with several great-aunts, uncles, extended family members, and many dear friends.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing Duane’s journey has brought him peace and reunited him with those who went before him. His laughter, stories, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.

“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always with us”

His wishes were not to have a service.

Please, pray for the family during this difficult time.
