Ryan Patrick Taylor, born on October 19, 1988, in Alabama, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026, at UAB Hospital. He was a man whose life was deeply rooted in family, love, and the joys found in nature and sport.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 20th, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Smith Lake Park, Zack Freeman officiating.

Ryan possessed a heartfelt passion for fishing and hunting, pastimes that brought him closer to the outdoors and provided cherished moments of peace and reflection. He held a special affection for his boat, a vessel that not only carried him across waters but also symbolized a canvas for lifelong memories shared with loved ones. Alabama football was yet another source of joy and spirited enthusiasm in his life, reflecting his deep connection to his home state and its traditions.

More than anything, Ryan’s heart was devoted to his family and children. His nurturing spirit and unwavering loyalty were constants in the lives of those closest to him. He was also greatly valued by the many people he worked alongside; colleagues knew him as a dependable and friendly presence who enriched their days.

Ryan is survived by his beloved parents, Pamela and Billy Taylor; his devoted wife Amanda Taylor; his sons, Nate and Jake Taylor; and his step-daughter, Chloe Speegle. He also leaves behind his brother Ethan Taylor and sister Emily Taylor (Ben Doss). The warmth of Ryan’s family circle extends to treasured extended family members, among them Stephen and Jessica Taylor, Lauren Carroll ( Brody), Eli Taylor, Freda and Reggie Clarke, Kara and Clay McAnally, Danny Morrow, Josh and Amy Morrow, Brant and Elini Morrow, Jeffrey and Kim Brown, Justin Brown, Tyler and Brittani Brown, as well as many other family and friends who held him dear.

Ryan’s journey is also marked by the memory of those who preceded him in death: his grandparents Ranelle Gray, Charles Brown, Alicia Morrow, Annette and Doug Taylor, and his beloved niece Olivia Doss. Their legacy remains a cherished part of his story.

As we remember Ryan Patrick Taylor, we honor a life filled with heart, purpose, and connection. His love for his family, his passions, and his community will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
