Funeral service for Nancy Carol Ergle Hudgins, 72, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Monday, April 13, 2026, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Bethlehem Cemetery, Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating. The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m.

Mrs. Hudgins passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at CRMC after a long illness. She was born March 19, 1954, to Tony Edmon Ergle and Edna Barnett Ergle in Cordele, Georgia. Nancy loved to go places, visit people, and she loved her family. She was especially proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Steve Hudgins; brothers, Truman Ergle, Buster Ergle, Wayne Ergle; grandson, Stephen Freeman; son-in-law, Warren Fanning.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Kenneth Ergle (Christi); daughter, Sharon Fanning; sister, Diane (David) Lolley; sister-in-law, Deborah Ergle; grandchildren, Magen Peace (Larry Cook), Kelsie Smallwood (Dylan), Haley (Randall Chasteen Culberson), Cody Ergle, Alyssa Ergle; great-grandchildren, Audrey Adcock, Adele Adcock, Ara Smallwood, Brookelynn Cook, Brantley Ergle and one on the way; a host of family and friends.
