Gail Bailey Chambers, 72, of Cullman passed away Saturday, March 28th, 2026, at CRMC surrounded by her family. She was born February 3, 1954, to Jefferson ‘Jeff’ Bailey and Shirley May South Bailey; the oldest of eight children.
She enjoyed fishing, gardening, being surrounded by her grandchildren and family, leaving behind a void that can never be filled.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Shirley Bailey; brothers, Bobby Bailey, Mark Bailey and sister, Beverly Thomas; nephews, Eric Bailey, Jerry Twilley, Tyler Bailey.
Gail is survived by her husband, Larry Chambers; daughter, Angela Chambers; sons, Rodney Chambers, Cody (Mary) Chambers; grandchildren, Faith (Jordan) Roberts, Larry Jacob King, Michael Chambers, Grace Chambers, Maliah Chambers, Mercy Chambers, Mark Chambers; great-grandchild, Adlene Roberts; sisters, Carolyn Twilley, Diane (Dennis) Dye, Janie Johnson,; 14 nieces and nephews; 36 great nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 1st, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. prior to the service.
