Zachary “Zach” Frank Mariano 34, from Hanceville, Alabama.

Passed away on March 23, 2026, at 2:53 p.m.

Zach was truly an amazing man, and an amazing father of 6 kids. His life revolved around them. He was a person that was always willing to help when needed. Zach was a hard worker and put his heart into everything he did. Zach never believed in doing anything halfway. Zach met his wife in 2005 and truly loved her. Zach had such a pure love for his family that is rare to see these days. He fought his battle with cancer for 3 years just to have more time with them. His aunt Kelly was one of his best friends along with his cousin Aaliyah. He was always a mama’s boy at heart. His father Frank was a huge part of his life during his sickness alongside his mother Betty. Zach was a devoted Christian and believed in our Father. He was a very goofy person and believed in making the best out of any situation. He never believed in giving up or throwing in the towel. He fought everyday down to his very last day.

Visitation will be held at Moss-service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Ave Northwest Cullman, AL 35055. Family will receive friend 3:30 p.m. till 4:30 p.m. with service to follow at 4:30 p.m.

Zach is survived by his wife Jackie his children Isaiah, Peyton, Elena, Jenavie, Miah and Zaelia Mariano. His father Frank (Lisa) Mariano and his Mother Betty Brasher. His grandmother Betty Speegle. His sister Cassie Mariano, Bama Minor, brother Anthony Brasher, Stepbrother’s Nick (Mallie) Riggs. Stephen (Sherietta) Riggs. Daniel and Eddie Riggs.

And a host of nieces and nephews. His aunts Anna Green and Kelly Holmes. His cousin Aaliyah Green.

He is preceded in death by his Grandfather Roy Speegle, Aunt Ann Wright, Sister Ana Marie Mariano and brother James Mariano.
