Mr. Glover passed away Thursday, February 26th, 2026, at Cullman Regional Hospital.  He was born December 19, 1943, to Enus Asbury “Berry” and Avie  Luella White Glover.  Chesley grew up on a farm and when he was younger and able, he loved to squirrel and quail hunt, loved to fish, make a garden. Chesley touched a lot of people’s lives over the years.  He never said anything bad about anyone.  He would go out of his way to help someone.  He loved his family and especially his grandchildren and he never let his family down. He was a hard working man.  He was a supervisor for many years with All South Contractors and always worked so hard the workers couldn’t stay up with him.  He will certainly be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter-in-law, Brenda Glover; brother, John Wesley Glover; sisters, Bernice Harding, Barbara Chaffin, Pauline Burks, infant sister, infant brother and a baby sister, Earline Glover.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Vivian Glover; sons, Billy Ray Glover (Tilisa Johnson), James Berry Glover; daughter, Tracie (Jeff) Nail; grandchildren, Nicholas (Marissa) Nail, Nathan (Sage) Nail, Dakota Glover, Karissa Glover, Kaitlyn Glover; great-grandchild, Asher Marchese; and a host of family and friends.
