Funeral service for Lester Riley Collier, 70, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 22nd, 2026, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Antioch Baptist Cemetery at Fairview, Bro. Samuel Tucker officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service.

Mr. Collier passed away February 19, 2026, at his residence. He was born October 9, 1955, to Curtis Rayburn Collier Sr. and Dorothy Mae Bates Collier. He was a truck driver for 40 years and was the youngest driver Americold ever had. He loved like no other, never meeting a stranger. He was a minister of God’s Word. Anyone that knew Riley knew he loved his girls.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Curtis Rayburn Collier, Jr.; sisters, Catherine Paulette Davis, Cynthia Young.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years and the love of his life, Shirley Collier; daughters, Leslie (Douglas) Wasson, Jeannie Collier, Jainnie (Dale) Free; brother, Tim (Tammy) Collier; sister-in-law, Sandra Collier; grandchildren, Abigail (Nicholas) Mann, Nathaniel (Katelynn) Free; great-granddaughter, Gwendalen Mann; family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Dale Free, Douglas Wasson, Nathaniel Free, Nicholas Mann, Tim Collier, Jeremy Collier.
