Roger Dale Wilson, aged 80, passed away on January 4, 2026. He was born on January 9, 1945. Roger was a resident of Cullman, Alabama.
Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Eddy Wilson; his mother, Edith Nancy Wilson; his father, Gid Kirkland Wilson; his sisters, Peggy Parker, Nancy Kramer, Nelda Graves, and Corinda Wilson; and his brothers, Jim Wilson, Harold Wilson, Frank Wilson, Bill Wilson, and Hardy Wilson.
He is survived by his daughter, Wendy Waldrep (Will); his sons, Ronnie Wilson (Lisa) and Bobby Wilson (Lynnette); his sisters, Debbie Bennett (Terry), Brenda Neace (Shiloh (deceased)), and Cinda Childress. He is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Greyson Wilson, Corbin Wilson, Jack Wilson, Parker Vandergrift, Phoenix Wilson, and Weston Waldrep.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on January 7, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home, Cullman, AL. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life Funeral Service from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the same location.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Roger’s memory to St. Jude’s Hospital.
