Funeral service for Howard Ray Posey, 56, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Friday, January 2nd, 2025, at Daystar Church, Pastor Jerry Lawson and Jason Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 12-2 p.m. prior to the funeral service.

Mr. Posey passed away December 30, 2025, at CRMC. He was born June 20, 1969, to Howard Hoyt and Henrietta Brewer Posey.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Henrietta Brewer Posey.
Survivors include his dad, Howard Hoyt Posey; his wife of 37 years, Trish Posey; sons, Mycah (Karli) Posey, Najee (Brittaney) Davis, Korbin Posey; daughters, Breana Posey, Raven Posey; brother, Henry (Laurie) Posey; grandson, Jack Posey; granddaughters, Lily Posey and Kensington Davis; a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, family and friends.
We remember today a devoted husband and family man whose life was marked by meekness and humility. He loved the Lord deeply, and that love guided the way he lived, served, and cared for others.
He faithfully served his church and his community, never seeking recognition, but always willing to help where he was needed. To those who knew him best, he was a gentle giant—strong in presence, yet tender in heart. Howard would speak at COJ (Crossing Over Jordan) and would ask “are you all in?” He was “ALL IN” with the Lord and made such an impact on everyone he spoke to.
His legacy lives on through his devotion to his family, his quiet faith, and the countless lives he touched with kindness, patience, and love. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
