Pamela “Pam” Jinkens Rimes, lovingly known as Nonni, passed away on December 14, 2025 after a brief illness, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on March 12, 1950, in Keokuk, Iowa, to Chubbs Frazier and the late Winnie Jinkens.
Pam was the beloved wife of Brady Rimes, whom she married in 1976. Together they built a life centered on family, faith, and hospitality. She was a devoted mother to her sons, Toby and Tyson, and warmly welcomed their wives, Shelli and Jen, into the family.
Pam was a proud grandmother to Braden (16), Cora (14), Quinn (3), and Palmer (2). Her grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she was their biggest fan—faithfully attending games, meets, recitals, and competitions, and joyfully sharing in everyday moments with the younger two through overnight visits, playdates, lake days, and birthday celebrations.
At age 34, Pam returned to school to earn her degree in physical therapy, a profession that perfectly reflected her lifelong compassion and desire to help others. Pam found her greatest fulfillment caring for patients and ensuring they received excellent, personal care.
Pam cherished time at her dream home that she and Brady built on Smith Lake, especially sitting on the back porch listening to the waterfall and enjoying God’s creation.
She is survived by her husband Brady; sons Toby (Shelli) and Tyson (Jen); grandchildren Braden, Cora, Quinn, and Palmer; siblings Shirley Otte and Neil Jinkens; her mother, Chubbs Frazier, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved so much.
Pam’s legacy of love, service, and faith will live on in the many lives she touched.
A celebration of Pam’s life will be held on December 17, 2025, at Bethany Baptist Church in Crane Hill, Alabama. The family will receive friends and family beginning at 11:00 a.m. for visitation, with the service to follow at 12:30 p.m., and a graveside service immediately afterwards.
