Deborah Jane Rice Mann, age 68, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025. Deborah was born in Alabama and spent her life dedicated to her family, faith, and community.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Deborah was known for her unwavering selflessness and kind spirit. She was a longtime and faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church, where her presence and service touched many lives. Deborah also served for many years as an educator in the Cullman City School System, leaving a lasting impact on generations of students and colleagues alike.
She is survived by her loving children, Ryan (Wayne) Gilmore, Jesse Mann, and Jacob (Alyssa) Mann; her cherished grandchildren, Kasey Mann, Jackson Mann, Callie Gilmore, Abbie Gilmore, Willow Mann, and Lily Mann; her sister, Myra Richardson; her brother, Chuck Rice; and her beloved aunt, Louise Rice.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Jane Rice, and her precious grandson, Waylon Charles Gilmore.
Deborah’s legacy of love, faith, and service will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A celebration of life graveside service for Deborah will be held Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
