Funeral services for Clarence Hershel Willoughby, 95, of Cullman, will be at 12 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2025, at East Side Baptist Church with visitation at 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Officiating will be Pastors Sam Hollis and Matt Smith. Graveside service will follow at Cullman City Cemetery. Clarence passed away Thursday, at his home September 4, 2025 in Cullman. He was born January 26, 1930, in Cullman County, Alabama, to Hershel and Minnie Willoughby.
Surviving Clarence are his brother, George Edward (Shirley) Willoughby; son, Ricky (Netta) Willoughby; daughters, Mary (Ronnie) Easterwood, and Sherry (Charlie) Buettner. Grandchildren, Lisa McMeans D’Antonio; Didi McMeans; Jason (Susan) Willoughby; Chad(Auburn) Willoughby; Abby Willoughby Thomas; Christi Doyle; Cory (Krista) DeBruhl; 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Florence Calvert Willoughby his parents, Hershel & Minnie Willoughby, one sister, (infant daughter) Lisa Kim Willoughby and (grandson) Shane McMeans.
In lieu of flowers the Willoughby family ask that donations be made to Cullman Eastside Baptist Church in Mr.Willoughby’s honor.
