Virginia Faye Dees Hulslander, Age 82, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away peacefully on August 31st, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. She was in her beloved home surrounded by her loving family at the time of her passing.

Born on June 3rd, 1943, in Birmingham, AL to the late Loyd and Eunice Dees, she spent her childhood in Cold Springs, Alabama. In 1959 she married her first love, Sonny Waddle, with whom she shared her 3 children. In 1983 she married the love of her life, Tommy Hulslander, with whom she shared 30 happy years before losing him. She retired from Vanity Fair in Hanceville, AL. She was a member of Seventh Street Baptist Church in Cullman, Alabama.

Even through her prolonged illness, Faye never lost her unwavering kindness or her deep love for her family. Her faith never wavered. She taught us the meaning of strength and grace. Her legacy will live on in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her loving children, Marty (Sandy) Waddle and Lisa (James) Williams; her grandchildren, Angela White, Adam Waddle, Blake Waddle, Kelsey Thomas, Cameron Waddle, and Austin Williams; her great-grandchildren, Ethain White, Karly Waddle, Aubrey White, Brandt Waddle, Lila Waddle, Grayson Thomas, and Hadley Thomas; her brother Kenneth (Jen) Dees; her sister Gail (Albert) Cone; and a host of many other loving family and friends. Faye is preceded in death by her parents Loyd and Eunice Dees; her beloved husband Tommy Hulslander; and her daughter, Connie Smith, who she lost much too soon.
