Lowell Eugene “Gene” Hall age 76, of Hanceville passed away Saturday August 30, 2025, at Brookwood Medical Center.
Gene was born on September 3, 1948, in Blount County, AL the son of Lowell Clarence Hall and Ethel Irene Underwood Hall. He was a 1967 graduate of Susan Moore High School. He retired after a long career as an aircraft mechanic with Pemco.
He is survived by his significant other with whom he shared almost 33 years, Joyce Corbin; son: Patrick Hall; daughter: ReBecca (Shane) Cochran; brothers: Randy (Sarah) Hall, Bruce (Paula) Hall, Steve (Cindy) Hall and Byron (Sherrie) Hall; sister: Martha (Gary) Puckett; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lowell Clarence and Ethel Irene Hall and Daughter in law: Susan Hall.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday September 6, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Blountsville Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Scott Lucas, Matthew Lucas, Corbin Lucas, Jayke Cochran, Brad Culbertson and Timmy Griffin. Honorary will be: Randy Hall, Bruce Hall, Steve Hall, Byron Hall, Gary Puckett and Blake Rich.
