Willadean “Deano” Moon Lindley, age 92, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
Willadean was a devoted and loving mother, known for her generous heart and willingness to help anyone in need. She spent her life caring for others and left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
Willadean is survived by her son, David Lindley; her brothers, Oliver Moon and Rudy Moon; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Moon, Rita Lindley, Joy Lindley, and Edna Duncan.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earnest Lindley; her parents, Gordon and Virdie Moon; her brother, Joel Moon; brothers-in-law, Att Lindley, Jerry Lindley, Delmer Lindley, Don Lindley, and Billy Wayne Duncan; and sisters-in-law, Sherry Lindley and Mae Jean Lindley.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Mt. Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 14906 County Road 222, Crane Hill, AL 35053. Willadean will lie-in-state from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday evening from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, located at 1901 2nd Ave NW, Cullman, AL 35055.
Willadean will be laid to rest in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
