Charles E. Quattlebaum, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, at the age of 86.

Born on April 12, 1939, Charles proudly served his country with two years in the Army. After his service, he devoted 37 years to his craft as a skilled welder, a profession he held with dedication and pride.

Charles was a man who found joy in the simple and meaningful aspects of life. He loved working on his farm, caring for his cows and chickens, and sharing those moments with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His deep faith guided him throughout his life, and he faithfully served both his church and his community.

Charles and his wife Brenda shared a remarkable 56 years of marriage, a testament to their enduring love and partnership. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Frances Quattlebaum; his sister, Joyce McMinn; sister-in-law Linda Quattlebaum; and grandson-in-law Trey Kilpatrick.

He is survived by his loving wife Brenda; children Leigh Ann and Brad (Mandy); grandchildren Bryant (Clancie), Paul (Lindsay), Lexi (Bryant), and Vic; and great-grandchildren Brycen, Brooks, Baylor Kate, Cooper, Ayden, Farrah, and Jack.

Charles’s legacy of hard work, faith, and family will live on through all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday July 20th at Logan Baptist Church, Pastor Anthony Clark officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30-2:30 p.m. before the service.
