Judy Dianne Echols, age 70 of Cullman, Alabama passed away May 28, 2025. She was born April 3, 1955, in Atlanta, Georgia.
Judy was a devoted wife, homemaker, and the best mother her family could have asked for. A longtime member of Temple Baptist Church, she attended faithfully for over 20 years. She enjoyed many adventures including shopping, traveling, and going on cruises with her husband Winfred. For a time, Judy even had a Harley-Davidson phase! More than anything, Judy loved her family deeply and unconditionally.
Judy is preceded in death by her father Charles D. White, and daughter Tannis Michelle McCombs. Judy is survived by her husband of over 30 years Winfred Echols, mother Doris P. White, daughter Gayla Robbins, sons Jeffrey Dale Tankersley and Waylon Echols, son-in-law Brian McCombs, sisters Janet (D.H.) Oden and Brenda (William) Link, brother Charles M. White, seven grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for a visitation Monday, June 2, 2025, from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. in the Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of life funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2025, Judy will lie in state from 1 p.m. until the service time at 2 p.m. with burial to follow at Ebenezer Cemetery 2245 CR-1242 Vinemont, AL, 35179.
