He was preceded in death by his partner, Patty Sterling; parents: Deirl & Geree Baker; nephew, Jashua Kanaday and great niece, Anna Hocutt.
Matthew is survived by his brothers: Carter Baker, Rayburn Baker, Kenneth Baker, and Luke Baker, sisters: Tina Baker Armstrong and Janet Baker Vintson (Dewayne); nieces and nephews: Veronica Kanaday, Brandon Kanaday, Krystal Baker, Justin Vintson and Toby Vintson; 3 great nieces, 3 great nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
Memorial service will be Saturday, May 18, at Logan Jr. High Community Center at 1 p.m. Reverend John McCoy will be officiating.
