Justin Dewayne Crumbley, a loving father, son, brother, and friend to many, passed away on Dec. 7, 2023, at the age of 44. Justin was born in Cullman County, Alabama on July 28, 1979, to Rickey L. Crumbley and Vicky Diane White.

Mr. Crumbley was a graduating member of the Cullman Bearcats Class of 1997. He then attended Auburn University where he graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Business. With a servant’s heart, Justin followed in his father’s footsteps, and was a member of the Elks Lodge for the past eighteen years.

Justin enjoyed and cared for many things. He was an avid Auburn Football fan, and he also cheered on his beloved Braves. He loved animals and his dog, Bella, and cat, Kitty, were very important to him. Mr. Crumbley enjoyed music and his playlist was a mixture of many genres, ranging from country to rap. He also enjoyed good moonshine.

Over the course of many years, Justin became a friend to many people. His friends were like family to him, and family was very important to Justin. Justin loved his parents and sister dearly. He was a devoted father and his daughter Lillian, or “Lil” as her father often called her, was his world.

To the outside world Justin may have appeared frail – but he was a fighter, and his battle made him stronger than some knew. The world has lost a kindhearted and brave man, a hero to many. His memory will be cherished by those who had the great honor of knowing him for many years to come.

Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents and his uncle.

Those surviving Mr. Crumbley are his father, Rickey Crumbley (Rebecca Bell); mother, Vicky Crumbley; children, Lillian Crumbley, Preslee Graves, Hannah Higgins, Gaige Brown; sister, Kristie Crumbley (Sam); brother, Wess Glispie; best friend and coparent to his children, Amanda Graves; aunt, Linda Federer; friend like a brother, Willie Odon; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
