Curtis “Wendell” Echols, age 71, of Vinemont, Alabama passed away on Friday, Sep. 8, 2023.
Wendell is survived by his wife, Wanda Echols; his daughter Mandy Dixon (Daniel); and his daughter-in-law Laurie Brooker; his brother Winfred Echols (Judy); his step sons Stephen Millwood (Ashley) and Blake Millwood (Katie) and his grandchildren Katie and Jake Echols, Cole and Drew Dixon, Callie, Haley, Kaylee, Adriana, Silas and CJ Millwood.
Wendell was preceded in death by his son Brad Echols; his parents Curtis O. and Mava Dean Echols; his brother Jeff Echols.
A celebration of life visitation for Wendell will be held Sunday, Sep. 10, 2023 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Avenue, N.W., Cullman, Alabama 35055. A celebration of life funeral service will occur Monday, Sep. 11, 2023 at 2 p.m.at Moss-Service Funeral Home. Officiated by Rev. Larry Duke and Rev. Tim Aris
Wendell will be laid to rest in Bethlehem West Cemetery, Vinemont, AL.
