Harold “Bootie” Edward Hyatt, age 89, of Baileyton, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2023. He was born in Cullman on Feb. 5, 1934 to Grady Hyatt and Naomie Nunnelley. He is preceded in death by his wife: Betty Jean Brooks Hyatt, parents, daughter: Dianne Lemons, son-in-law: David Lemons, sister: Vondaleen Peyton, brothers: Howard Stidham and Edward Hyatt.
Harold is survived by his daughter Cathy Hooper; his daughter Sheila (Terry) King; and his daughter Juawana (Steve) Brown, sisters: Marilee Kuykendall, Faye Castle, brother: Kenny Hyatt, eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild due in Sep. 2023.
A visitation for Harold will be held Thursday, Aug. 3, 2023 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Avenue NW, Cullman, AL 35055. Funeral services will be Friday, Aug. 4, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Mos Service Funeral Home Chapel, 1901 2nd Avenue NW, Cullman, AL 35055. Interment will be Friday, Aug. 4, 2023 at Arab City Cemetery, 740 North Main Street, Arab, AL 35016.
