Constance “Connie” Joy Whatley was born Jan. 19, 1959 to Al and Ellece Burns Varnes in Jacksonville, Florida. She died June 17, 2023 in Madison, Alabama.
Connie was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother and sons, Jason (Kimberly) Whatley and Justin (Jessica) Whatley, sisters Grace Varnes Schrimsher, Norma Varnes Hope, Gail Varnes (Richard) Cooper and grandchildren Keiton, Brielle, Benjamin, Christian, Ava, Vivian, Olivia and Everly.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Faith Restoration Church in Hanceville, Alabama. Memorial donations may be made to Affinity Hospice, 540 Hughes Road, Suite 12, Madison, AL 35758.
