Obituary: Bobby Wayne Fuson

Bobby Wayne Fuson, 71, of Addison, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Woodland Village Nursing Home in Cullman surrounded by his family.

Bobby Wayne Fuson was born in 1951 in Middlesboro, Kentucky. He pastored for 36 years and raised his family to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He loved to fish with all his kids. Bobby Wayne Fuson taught his kids how to play music and sing and introduced his kids to Bluegrass music. He loved John Wayne and Andy Griffith. Gunsmoke was a regular at the house. His view of a real man was a cowboy who stood for the right and carried a six shooter and a Henry riffle. He showed us how to treat a woman. He loved his Geraldine and spoiled her and loved being a family man. He supported his kids in whatever they did. He was a proud daddy and papaw. He talked about Heaven our whole lives and now is living what he preached in Gloryland.

The family will hold a Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Cullman Commission on Aging, located at 1539 Sportsman Lake Road NW Cullman, AL 35055.

Wayne is survived by his: son, Robert Charles Fuson and his wife Melissa Fuson, daughter Mackenzie Rae Fuson and son Caleb Maxwell Fuson; son, Jesse Wayne Ovid Fuson and his wife Amy Fuson, sons Alexander Jovid Fuson, Aryn Jackson Fuson, Alijah Jesse Fuson, and daughter Amelia Joyce Fuson; son, Terry Ray Lee Fuson and his wife Stephanie Pace Fuson; sister, Modena Fuson Granger; brother, Maxwell Ray Fuson; and his wife Barbara Fuson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Geraldine Fuson; son, Nathan Andrew Fuson; two more children that they lost; father, Robert Grover Fuson; mother, Christine Maxwell Fuson, and brother-in-law, Bill Granger.
