Gerald Raynard Smith Sr., 90, of Vinemont, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
He was born in Cullman, Alabama on Jan. 27, 1933 and was a Korean War Veteran.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Lois Smith; son, Wesley D. Smith; daughters, Patti Herring, Tammy Sprouse and Tina Arms; brothers, John Mac Smith, Kenneth Ray Smith and Keith Smith; sister, Brenda Drake; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Raynard Smith and Alma Grace Smith; son, Gerald Raynard Smith, Jr.; brother, Larry Earl Smith and sister, Joyce Faulker.
The graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Cemetery. Moss Service Funeral Home directing.
