William Douglas Ward, age 67, of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
Doug was born on May 9, 1955 in Guin, Alabama.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Macedonia Church Cemetery.
Doug is survived by his nephews, Joshua A. Martin and Michael O’Frecia; and a host of friends who were like family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ollie Ward and Dorothy Euline Taylor Ward; sister, Camilla B. Morrow; and grandparents, Ollie and Belle Ward, and Maud and Cammie Taylor.
